export class DechetDTO { u/ValidateDate() date:Date; u/ValidateArray() items:DechetItemEntity[] }
ValidateArray Just makes sure it's an array, and not empty.
What I want is for the array to have the object DechetItemEntity with it required properties.
because passing an array with empty objects to items is considered correct.
export class DechetItemEntity { @PrimaryGeneratedColumn('uuid') id!:string; @CreateDateColumn() createdAt:Date; @UpdateDateColumn() updatedAt:Date; @ManyToMany(() => DechetMerchandiseEntity) @JoinTable() merchandise:DechetMerchandiseEntity; @Column() quantity:number; @Column() price:number; @ManyToOne(() => DechetEntity, dechet => dechet.items) @JoinColumn() dechet:DechetEntity; } export class DechetMerchandiseEntity { @PrimaryGeneratedColumn('uuid') id!:string; @CreateDateColumn() createdAt:Date; @Column({unique: true}) name:string; @Column({nullable: true}) code?:number; @ManyToMany(() => DechetItemEntity, {eager: true}) item:DechetItemEntity[]; }
the merchandise should not be {name, code} in DTO, but just UUID, I could not figure this one out too.
Example of DTO
{ "date": "2001-01-08", "items": [ { "merchandise": "0d3babf3-e39e-4d8a-b72d-2800ea9c8c49", "quantity": 125, "price": 12 }, { "merchandise": "cad16269-de20-4242-bd85-54d3e774fe99", "quantity": 200, "price": 5 } ] }
If this could be improved, or you see an issue, It would be appreciated if you share it.

Introduction

Flashback to 2016 when Microsoft's AI chatbot Tay went rogue on Twitter after trolls trained it to spew racist, offensive rhetoric. The event was a sobering wake-up call about the potential pitfalls (and hilarity) of artificial intelligence run amok.
It’s the year 2024, and AI is the technology now seemingly revolutionising the marketing and business markets. Although either being conscious or not self-aware, AI technologies have advanced and perform the most incredible works in real life.
This transformation is remodelling the key components of digital strategies especially Search Engine Optimization which is essential ever. What's more, considering that SEO is the digital powerhouse that can drive traffic and revenue making it an investment worthy it, it is important to get at the edge of the AI curve.
In the next lines, we will delve into the wide-ranging ways AI technology will utterly revolutionise SEO in 2024 and beyond. The effect is permeating through content creation, voice search, experience of the user, ranking algorithm etc.
As a futurist, I invite you to put on your futurist lens and join me in the fascinating brain of how AI will change the fundamental principles of SEO success.

Content Creation: Quality at Unmatched Level

For many years, with flashing signs lit, SEOs and marketers have been preaching the gospel about the quality, depth, audience-centeredness of the text is the key to a high place in the organic ranking success. Google is obviously not happy with that: thin, meaningless content can be forgotten.
On the face of it, this order obviously sounds good. However, it is very challenging to multitask and produce a significant amount of good content very often, particularly after the constriction of supply or funds befall a small team.
Enter: AI-driven content creation and optimization platforms. We are not considering the kind of algorithms that only rearrange the words like a digital mad lib. By that, I literally mean the best natural language generation models that can create well-formulated and readable, as well as almost human content regarding any fields and topics.
Amazingly this very sentence is being written by the AI system called Claude that was founded by the leader researcher of the field. Does it read like I have an entire digital marketing agency ghostwriting for me? I'll take that as a compliment!
The implications of leveraging AI for consistent, scalable content creation are immense. With the right prompts and training data, brands can churn out volumes of blogs, articles, social posts, emails, scripts, and more on autopilot. The economics and time-saving potential are staggering.

Voice Search: Optimizing for Audible Assistants

Chances are you've witnessed the meteoric rise of voice assistants like Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant infiltrating homes and offices worldwide. According to Microsoft’s data, 72.2% of voice assistant users use the technology on a daily basis. This is mass adoption on a wide scale.
Yes, the whole voice experience is still in the process of evolution, one thing people keep to do, though, is use voice search in order to find information hands-free by asking questions. And who do you imagine is probably behind those voice search capabilities? As if by magic – artificial intelligence and machine learning mechanisms.
The most structural change occurs in people’s searching in this relevant way, which implies it is no longer a choice but a necessity to optimize content for conversational and audio-friendly processing.
Google is not only developing but already producing tools like the Speakable markup for a more accurate and thorough page content understanding.
The handwriting is on the wall and the voice will only grow in popularity. AI-first optimization is imperative to sail through this tsunami in the AI field.

AI Enabled Personalised User Experiences Empowered by AI

It's a known fact that Google pays a great attention to signals of visual experience, including the journey, trip rebound tourists, funnelling, and engagement as it algorithms weapons. In the end, we can say that happy users support the search environment.
As more and more elements are becoming AI-powered, in virtue of your website relevancy and personalized user experience, the key SEO metrics will change to digital success. Individually focused strategies are preferable to the single method.
Consider yourself as a customer on a website who searching for a product. At the same time, the product arrangements, search function, navigation and CTA's, all are modified based on a predictive model of your preference and intent. The AI could suggest top-sellers that match their demography for one customer and clearance items that are based on their previous purchases for another. You'd need AI assistants turbo-boosted by deep learning capabilities to dynamically construct the optimal path per visitor.

Powerful SEO Tools Fueled by AI Enablement

Beyond strategic and technical SEO optimizations, smart marketers are leveraging AI-powered tools to drive analysis, task automation, and deeper data mining to extract fresh SEO insights.
We're already starting to see this manifest in areas like:
As AI evolves, this burgeoning marketing technology ecosystem will only continue growing more sophisticated and indispensable for SEO practitioners.
The human dimension is not doomed to become obsolete even with AI’s incapacity to exhibit creative, strategic, and divergent approaches to problem solving. However, companies that adeptly put the right AI tools and data networks to work will have an indisputable edge.

I recently got my hands on the 241891105 LED light for the Frigidaire Refrigerator. I had been using a traditional incandescent bulb, but the brightness and energy efficiency of this LED light blew me away. The LED light emits a bright and uniform light that illuminates the entire refrigerator compartment, making it easy to locate items even in the dimmest corners.
The real game-changer for me was the energy efficiency of this LED light. It consumes far less power than an incandescent bulb, and I've definitely noticed a difference in my electricity bill. Plus, LED lights have a much longer lifespan, so I won't have to worry about changing the bulb any time soon.
One minor downside, though, is that the LED light can sometimes flicker, especially when the refrigerator is first plugged in. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it can be a little irritating. Despite this, the 241891105 LED light has definitely improved the overall experience of using my Frigidaire Refrigerator.

Additionally, it offers eye protection, energy savings, and no stroboscopic effect. Plus, the easy installation process made replacing the bulbs a breeze.

The bulb is not only compatible with my refrigerator but also offers an impressive energy-saving feature of 3 watts while providing a bright, uniform light inside. Its T8 shape and E17 socket ensured a seamless installation process, making any doubt in its compatibility dissipate.
However, despite the product's positive attributes, one recurring issue I faced was the need to ensure compatibility with my refrigerator model, which required an occasional consultation with the manufacturer or a check of the service manual. This hassle is a downside of the process.

Its low wattage means I don't have to worry about my electricity bill skyrocketing, and its long lifespan of 2,000 hours means I'm not constantly replacing bulbs.
Made from high-quality materials, this bulb is built to last. However, one downside is that it's quite fragile - I accidentally broke the filament while replacing water in my chicken coop. First off, it's a genuine OEM replacement part made by the same company that built my refrigerator, so it fits perfectly and ensures optimal performance. Plus, it's made in the USA, adding an extra level of quality assurance.
One thing that struck me was how easy it was to install. The tubular shape and push-button controller made it a breeze to replace the old bulb, even with my limited mechanical skills. And the 7-watt, 120-volt bulb provides just the right amount of light to keep my fridge illuminated without being too bright or harsh.
However, there's one small drawback that I noticed. The bulb's price tag is a bit higher than some other generic alternatives, but in my opinion, the superior performance and compatibility make it worth the investment.
Overall, I'd highly recommend the Whirlpool W10857122 Light Bulb for anyone looking to keep their refrigerator well-lit and functional. It's a reliable, authentic product that's sure to bring a little extra convenience to your daily life.

I've been using the 297114000 Frigidaire Refrigerator Light Bulb for quite some time now and it's been a game-changer. My old bulb was always burning out, leaving me in the dark every time I opened the fridge. This new bulb, however, has been incredibly reliable.
One of the things I love about it is how easy it is to install. Whether you're replacing an old bulb or setting up a new fridge, the process is quick and painless. Plus, the bright light it emits makes everything inside easy to see, even when the fridge door is open.
On the downside, I wish it could last a little longer. But considering how often I open my fridge, I guess that's just a reality of the daily grind. Overall, this light bulb is a solid choice for anyone looking to keep their fridge well-lit and easy to navigate.

🔗LED Light Bulb for Frigidaire Electrolux Refrigerator

I’ve been using this LED light bulb for my fridge, and I must say it has been a game changer. It’s a 5304511738 LED refrigerator light bulb that's compatible with fridges from Frigidaire, Kenmore, and Electrolux, making it incredibly versatile. The bulb has a wide voltage design, meaning it can work perfectly with power inputs ranging from 110V to 240V.
One of the things I love about this bulb is its super bright light that makes finding items in my fridge a breeze, even in the deepest corners. It also offers an energy-efficient option with a wattage of just 3.5w.
The 5304511738 LED refrigerator light bulb is made of high-quality material that ensures durability. Its brightness isn't just confined to my fridge; I've also used it as a cabinet light and reading light. Plus, it's perfect for use as a desk lamp or daily lighting.
On the downside, while the wide voltage compatibility makes it suitable for various appliances, it can be tricky to install if you're not familiar with electrical systems.
Overall, the 5304511738 LED refrigerator light bulb has made a significant difference in how I see and use my refrigerator. It's bright, energy-efficient, and versatile. Highly recommended!

In-Game FAQ

1. When is anniversary coming?
Half-year 28 February 6AM UTC
Full-year 28 August 6AM UTC
2 Why hasn't my Pokemon evolved? It's at Level [X]!
Evolution requires an evolution item available in the Training Area (Evolution Material Area). Upon earning the Evolution Materials, you need to go to the Sync Pair Stories to trigger the Evolution Story.
3. Should I save to do 11 multi-scouts instead of single scouts?
You can now get x11 units instead of 10, so yes, but we strongly recommend you to save gems for Poké Fair or Master Fair banners (which has a higher rate for 5★ characters).
4. How many gems are required to receive a Sync Pair of my choice?
36.600 non-paid gems (or 36.300 gems + 100 paid gems for a daily single pull), which is the equivalent of 400 scout points. Scout points do not carry over between banners.
5. What does [X]/5, [Y]/20, etc mean?
When you obtain a Sync Pair, they're at 1/5 Sync Move level. Rolling a dupe of that Sync Pair, or using a Move Candy will increase it by 1 level. 3/5 is the minimum for most sync pairs to complete their full Sync Grid, but some Poké Fairs have grid expansions that require their Sync Move to be completely maxed out at 5/5 for their full Sync Grid.
At the same time, Sync Pairs are at 0/20 Potential when they're just obtained. Giving Sync Pairs Powerups will raise their Potential and stats. When a Sync Pair is given 20 powerups, their star level will be increased. Getting a unit to 5★ 20/20 is mandatory for it to further upgrade to 6★ EX (if it has one).
6. How do I Unlock The Level cap of my units?
Training Area (Cap Unlock Area), (Cap Unlock Area 2), Exchange in the shop, Events.
7. Where do I get the manuals to level up my sync pairs?
Training Area (Level up Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, random drops in Trainer Lodge.
8. How do I get Sync orbs?
Training Area (Sync orb Area), Exchange in the shop, Events, Champion Stadium Master Mode (6K & 7.5K), random drops in Trainer Lodge.
9. What are Theme Skill and how do I get items to power them up?
Theme Skill is a new ability that raises the stats of your Sync Pairs if any of them has a common position, type, region, trainer group, or other features with another pair (or pairs) in the same team. Skill Spheres, which can be obtained in Theme Skill area and Champion Stadium Master Mode, are required to upgrade them.
10. What Lucky Skill should I roll for [X]? How do I get Lucky Cookies and Scrolls to unlock a Sync Pair's Lucky Skill?
Refer to Sync Grid Builds & Lucky Skills (by u/MomoSpark) for more details.
In general, the choices of Lucky Skills follow the roles of Sync Pairs:
There are exceptions to some Sync Pairs. For example,
Lucky Cookies and Lucky Scrolls can all be obtained in Battle Villa (Single Player & Co-op), Blissful Bonanza, and Legendary Gauntlet. Legendary Gauntlet can provide unlimited 3★ Lucky Cookies as well as Deluxe Cookies exclusive to that mode after each successful stage clear, and their drop chance increases with longer win streaks.
11. What are the Sync Move effects of 6★ EX Sync Pairs of different roles? Who should I promote to 6★ EX first?
Each role gives different effects to Sync Moves when upgraded to 6★ EX.
Support is usually prioritized for promotion to 6★ EX because its EX effect effectively doubles the damage of all allied sync pairs after first sync and is more widely applicable across most game modes, and the increased stats from raising the support's Potential greatly enhances its bulk to tank stages.
For Strike, if its kit has a very high DPS (e.g. SS Red & Charizard, Diantha & Gardevoir, etc.), or includes a powerful Sync multiplier (e.g. Steven & Metagross's Haymaker, Barry & Empoleon's Inertia, etc.), you are highly recommended to upgrade it to 6★ EX to apply the damage to all opponents. This applies to Tech as well, but only if the unit is a Sync nuker (e.g. Marnie & Morpeko, May & Swampert, etc.).
Since Field applies a field effect that can boost its own damage and potentially that of its allies as well, upgrading it to 6★ EX is also recommended. Sprint enables faster sync buffs and usually come with innate Sync Move multipliers like Tech, but its EX effect does not improve damage as directly as the other roles.
Promoting Support-type units to 6★ EX is not a must, but it's always an added bonus, especially if their Sync Move can provide any additional effects via passive or grid skills.
Always remember to upgrade Rosa to 6★ EX because the materials are obtainable for free.
12. Which Sync Pair should I use my candy on?
Refer to Which Sync Pair Should You Give Your Candy To? (Infographic) (by u/MuddyDummy) for more details.
Always save your candies unless the Sync Pair is exclusive to Seasonals, Poké Fairs or Master Fairs. Most Sync Pairs are usable at 1/5. You can always "accidentally" pull the unit you've been looking for from the normal pool, but you never know when limited Sync Pairs will rerun again. This may not apply to Sync Pairs that are your favorite.

Common Technical Questions/Errors

Below lists all common technical errors you may encounter during the game, as well as how you can fix it. You are strongly encouraged to contact DeNA with any problems at [support@pokemonmasters-game.com](mailto:support@pokemonmasters-game.com) if any of these advice do not help.
  1. Error 20103 — Please check your connection and try again: Usually caused due to lack of connection or sudden disconnection. Try playing the game in a place with more stable connection.
  2. Error 10102 — An error has occurred. Restarting the game: This error is often triggered because it detects your phone is rooted, or that you are using external applications which allows opening multiple accounts on the same device. For rooted phone users, make sure you hide your rooted status.
  3. Game crashed mid-battle: Restart the app and clear your cache. This option is available in the bottom-left corner of the title screen.
  4. Does Pokémon Masters work on emulators? No. As of now, PM is not compatible with any of the emulators (including Bluestacks, Nox, etc.) However, playing two accounts on the same device is possible on Android by cloning with Island.

2024.06.10 07:27 beeecon_ Passed at 150

I'd like to share my NCLEX experience last May 29, 2024. I walked in the testing site expecting that I'd only reach 85-90 items (since most of my friends only reached 85-90 as well), but to my dismay I reached 150. You can only imagine the feeling I got when the test kept going after I hit the 90-mark. I felt so disheartened and frustrated but I made sure to keep going and answer to the best of my ability. My friend and I took the exam together and when I saw that she finished first and left the testing room I felt even more pressured since I had a feeling that she only reached 85 items. After the exam I went straight to the comfort room and well comforted myself by crying out my frustrations. I met up with my friend after I left the testing site and cried again. I lost count of how many times I cried after the exam and the days in between while waiting for the result. It was a really frustrating 5 days, some days I'd be distracted but then it would all come back and I would end up breaking down again. I had mixed feelings whether I would pass or not. I was making up scenarios in my head on what I would do next if I didn't pass and how I would spend the days bed rotting and sulking in my room. I took the exam on a Wednesday so I had to wait until Monday for my result because an agency sponsored my exam and I couldn't easily access my pearson account. Monday came and I was expecting a call from my advisor by 9AM. By 8:30 I received an email confirming the purchase of my quickresults, and on that moment I felt like a weight was off my shoulders. I felt like good news was coming. By 9AM my advisor finally called, asked me how my exam was and asked if I was ready to hear the result, when I heard her say "Congrats" I broke down crying once again, not because of frustration but because of happiness. What I thought would be a fail ended up being a pass.
My takeaway from this experience is to expect the unexpected and never doubt your capabilities. Mindset is a strong thing, and I truly believe that once you manifest something you will surely get it.
For the NCLEX— I think walking in expecting that you'd reach the maximum number of items will surely help you mentally prepare yourself and you won't be as rattled as I was when I was taking the exam.
For my preparation— I used SimpleNursing as my review for 2 months. I didn't have anything else and trusted in the review materials provided by SimpleNursing. I binged watch the review lectures and remediation videos as if it were my favorite TV series. The exams were also helpful in determining my readiness to take the NCLEX.
I just really wanted to share this experience because up until now I still couldn't believe that I'm finally a USRN. 🥹♥️

🔗High-Quality Kydex Magazine Pouches for FNX 45T

I recently had the opportunity to try out the C&G Holsters Double FLAT OWB COVERT Kydex Mag Holder, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. The quality of craftsmanship is evident as soon as you hold the holster, and it feels sturdy and well-made.
One of the standout features of this mag holder is its ability to hold magazines securely. I found that it offered precise retention without being too tight or difficult to remove. The adjustable tension screws also made it easy to fine-tune the fit for different magazine types.
However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks to my experience. The plastic clip that attaches the holster to my belt tended to bend out of shape when using a heavier or wider belt. This wasn't a deal-breaker, but it did require me to replace the clip with a more durable one. Additionally, some users have noted that the holster design has changed over time, with the newer version having a less aesthetic shape.
Despite these minor cons, I'm overall very pleased with the C&G Holsters Double FLAT OWB COVERT Kydex Mag Holder. It has proven to be a reliable and functional addition to my everyday carry, and I appreciate the attention to detail and quality that C&G Holsters bring to their products.

🔗Ed Brown 1911 Magazine Base Pad for 45 ACP 7RD Silver

https://preview.redd.it/iq6cdhj96o5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d8ce71877ad9b51a58331007c7358eee1a3dde1f
I've been using this 1911 Magazine from Ed Brown for a while now, and it's been quite the experience. I love that it comes with the removable base pad installed, allowing for a perfect fit with my concealed carry gun. The magazine has been a lifesaver during those long gunsmithing sessions, but it also looks fantastic on my gun.
One thing that stood out to me is the innovative follower design – it's been smooth and reliable every time I've used it. The heavy gauge metal tube adds an extra layer of durability, which is always a plus. However, one downside I've noticed is that the base pad seems to be a bit taller than my other magazines, making it slightly tricky to remove when I need to. Overall, I'd say it's a minor inconvenience in the grand scheme of things.
The 1911 Magazine from Ed Brown is a high-quality product that's perfect for those who want a reliable and stylish addition to their concealed carry arsenal.

🔗Premium Fenris Magazine for Compound Bows - Fast, Accurate Shooting

I've been using the Steambow Fenris Magazine for Compound Bows Black 296 for a few months now, and it has completely transformed my archery experience. The featherlight design and ease of use make it a breeze to fire arrows at a rapid pace. The quick detachment feature is perfect for transporting the magazine as well.
One of the main highlights of this product is its precision and accuracy, even with minimal training effort. The CNC-machined aluminum construction and professional hard anodizing make it a premium piece, contributing to its top-notch accuracy and precision.
However, it would have been great to have a more detailed instruction manual, as understanding the ins and outs of the magazine could help first-time users get the most out of their experience. Overall, the Steambow Fenris Magazine is an excellent addition for anyone looking to enhance their archery skills and performance.

Recently, I tried out the Springfield XD(M) 45 ACP Compact magazine sleeve, a helpful accessory to keep in your gun. It's designed particularly for those using high capacity magazines, creating a firm grip between the magazine base plate and the pistol grip. It fits perfectly with an XD(M) 45ACP Compact, which I thought was great, as I didn't have to worry about stability with my larger magazines.
However, the experience wasn't flawless. The product came with some setbacks too. The sleeve seems to be of higher quality than its price suggests, but the company's customer service was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, they charged and shipped the item despite a same-day cancellation, causing a small inconvenience. I also noticed slight difficulties in fitting the magazine sleeve onto my XD(M) 45 ACP Compact, though I could work it it out eventually.
Despite these drawbacks, I feel that the benefits of the Springfield X-Tension magazine sleeve outweigh the negative experience I had with the company. It provides a solid grip and stability to an often-unnoticed aspect of shooting, making my experience with the XD(M) 45 ACP more comfortable. Overall, it's a product worth considering for XD(M) 45 ACP Compact shooters seeking a more stable experience with their high-capacity magazines.

As someone who appreciates precision and durability in their firearm accessories, I was excited to try the Kriss USA Magex2 Extension Kit. The extended baseplate, outer sleeve, and spring all came together flawlessly to provide a boost in capacity for my factory standard Glock magazines.
I must say, the lightweight reinforced composite construction made it a joy to handle, and the 30-round capacity truly made a difference in my shooting experience. However, I noticed that it was incompatible with reduced capacity 10rd magazines, which could be a potential downside for some users. Overall, the Kriss USA Magex2 Extension Kit delivered on its promises, and its long-term reliability is truly something to be admired.

When I first laid my hands on the Mag FN 509C, I couldn't help but feel the premium quality of the components. As a seasoned gun enthusiast, I found the FDE finish to be both elegant and practical. With a capacity of 15 rounds, this magazine proved to be a reliable companion during my shooting sessions.
However, the size might be an issue for some shooters with smaller hands. Overall, the Mag FN 509C offers excellent build quality and durability, making it a reliable choice for both new and experienced gun owners alike.

I recently came across the FN America, a reliable and durable magazine specifically designed for 45 ACP pistols. To see if it lived up to its reputation, I tested it with my favorite FN 545. The magazine's silver with black base and nickel-coated steel construction felt solid to the touch, promising a high-quality build.
One of my favorite features was its capacity, with 18 rounds ready to be fed into the pistol. Whether for practice or target shooting, this extra ammo capacity allowed for a smoother and more efficient experience. However, on the downside, the magazine's dimensions made it slightly less compact than some of its competitors, which might be a drawback for those who value portability.
Despite this minor issue, I found the FN America's performance to be consistently excellent. Its precision manufacturing and durability earned it a place in my collection as a go-to magazine for my FN 545. This experience with the FN America confirms it as an essential accessory for both beginning shooters and seasoned veterans alike.

One feature that truly stands out is the adjustable retention system, which allows me to customize the holster to fit my precise model. The silky smooth edges provide a comfortable carry option, and the sturdy paddle clip, with its tactical non-slip texture, securely holds on to my belt without any unwanted movement.
Although I love the customization options and overall fit, I do wish the slide-on clip was replaced with a more secure belt loop-style anchor. This security feature would provide an added sense of reliability, especially for those of us who need to rely on spare magazines for peace of mind.
Overall, I'm really happy with the FN FNX. 45 ACP Tactical OWB Holster. Although there's always room for improvement, it's a great option for anyone looking to carry spare magazines in style and comfort.

Carrying a spare magazine can be a lifesaver in certain situations, but it's essential to have the right holster for it. I recently tried the FN FNX. 45 ACP Tactical MagDraw OWB Holster, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The holster is sleek and ergonomic, ensuring a comfortable carry experience.
One of the most significant features that stood out to me is the adjustable retention system. It's designed to be custom-made to fit your specific gun model, ensuring a perfect fit. The adjustable cant angle also adds versatility to the holster, allowing for forward and reverse adjustment.
Another aspect I appreciated is the silky smooth edges that provide a comfortable carry option. And let's not forget about the rock-solid paddle clip with Vedders' proprietary tactical non-slip texture, which securely holds onto the belt, preventing any movement.
However, I did notice that the slide-on clip might not be as sturdy as a belt loop-type anchor. Despite this minor concern, the FN FNX. 45 ACP Tactical MagDraw OWB Holster still offers an impressive combination of comfort, functionality, and style, making it a worthy addition to any gun owner's collection.

🔗Comfortable Magazine Holster for FN FNX .45 ACP

The FN FNX. 45 ACP MagTuck holster is undoubtedly a game-changer in the world of concealed carry. Its sleek ergonomic design ensures that spare magazines can be carried along the belt line without adding any discomforting bulk or material. The holster comes with a variety of beneficial features, such as adjustable retention, a custom fit for your precise model, and a silky smooth edge for the utmost comfort. The rock-solid spring steel clip keeps your holster securely on the belt, and it's available in two widths.
What stood out to me in my experience was the ease of adjusting the cant angle – a feature that allowed me to find the perfect angle for a comfortable carry. Moreover, the wide range of colors and patterns available was a pleasant surprise, as I was certain to find one that matched my unique style. However, the stock photo of the Glock 19 MagTuck holster left some room for confusion, as the one I received for my FN FNX was a perfect fit. Overall, the MagTuck holster offers a comfortable and reliable solution for carry enthusiasts, making it a top pick for any gun lover.

The Vedder Holsters LightDraw OWB has been my trusted companion in my daily carry routine. Made to perfection, it perfectly molds to the shape of my gun and is super comfortable to wear. The adjustable retention feature allows me to get the perfect draw every time.
My only complaint comes from the full sweat shield as it can sometimes make a loud noise when I move. However, the rest of the features are outstanding! The durability, sleek design, and full sight channels make this a top-quality carry choice. If you're looking for an OWB holster that fits perfectly, offers great retention, and can handle extreme conditions, this is the one. Try it and experience its precision and comfort for yourself, risk-free!

🔗Tactical IWB Holster for FN FNX .45 ACP: Comfort, Style, and Versatility

In my quest for a comfortable and efficient way to carry my FN FNX. 45 ACP, I stumbled upon the Vedder Holsters FN FNX. 45 ACP Tactical RapidTuck IWB Holster. After receiving the holster and securing my FN FNX. 45 ACP onto it, I was pleasantly surprised by the fit and comfort it provided.
The holster is made from premium leather and molded Kydex, which makes it strong and durable. The design allows for various carrying positions, including appendix, 3 o'clock, and cross-draw. One of my favorite features is the adjustable ride height, providing three positioning options and up to 30 cant in both directions.
However, the holster is not without its drawbacks. The leather option causes pressure points and discomfort during long periods of wearing. While the Kydex shell protects the gun, it can be tricky to seat the firearm from time to time.
Despite the minor issues, I have come to appreciate the Vedder Holsters FN FNX. 45 ACP Tactical RapidTuck IWB Holster for its flexibility, comfort, and durability. It's an excellent choice for carrying my FN FNX. 45 ACP in various situations.

Buyer's Guide

When purchasing an FNx 45 Extended Magazine, there are several key factors and considerations you should take into account. These will not only help you make an informed decision but also ensure that the magazine meets your specific needs and requirements.

Capacity

One of the primary considerations when buying a magazine is its capacity. Extended magazines offer a higher number of rounds, allowing users to engage targets at a greater range without the need for frequent reloading.

https://preview.redd.it/7zvv6tve6o5d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=adb5255a6687930db42bb947ed95e501ec41b924

Materials

The construction material of the magazine should also be a factor in your decision-making. High-quality materials such as reinforced polymer or aluminum can provide better durability and resistance to wear and tear.

Compatibility

Compatibility with your FNx 45 handgun is crucial. Check the manufacturer's specifications to ensure that the magazine is compatible with your specific firearm model.

Price

The cost of the magazine can also be a factor in your decision-making. While more expensive options may offer higher quality materials and better durability, it ultimately depends on your budget and personal preferences.

Brand Reputation

The reputation of the magazine manufacturer can also be an important consideration. Famous brands with a history of quality products will likely provide reliable and long-lasting magazines.

Safety Features

Some brands may offer additional safety features such as a locking system or a slide-stop. These features can prevent accidental discharge and reduce the risk of injury.

Weight

The weight of the extended magazine can also be a factor, especially for users who carry their firearms for extended periods. Lighter weight magazines may be more comfortable to carry but may also be less durable.

Customer Reviews

Reviews from other customers who have used the magazine can provide valuable insight into its quality, durability, and performance. Be sure to read reviews thoroughly to make an informed decision.

Warranty and Support

Finally, consider the warranty and support offered by the manufacturer. A comprehensive warranty can provide peace of mind and ensure that any issues with the magazine can be addressed promptly.

2024.06.10 06:02 Day_mirrors2 Portfolio advice for a high schooler applying in LA

I'm a rising senior in high school and am getting ready to apply for a BLA. My aim is Cornell, but am open to other U.S colleges like Berkley. My grades/exams/recs are all fine; I only need a portfolio. I searched online, but most resources are about Masters or job applications. It's all very confusing, especially since LA is rarely pursued where I live. Because it's discouraged compared to med or law school, I don't have a real-life figure to ask either. I was hoping you guys could give me some practical, honest advice.
For reference, this is Cornell's portfolio requirements:
Applicants to the BSLA program are required to submit a portfolio. The portfolio is used to assess your aptitude for visual thinking and design. Applicants may include a wide variety of media, including freehand drawings, painting, photography, graphic design and renderings, garden design, and other creative endeavors. Portfolios should include a total number of 10-12 pieces. Please include a brief caption for each piece, including a title, size, project intention, and medium of each work.
I can do all mediums (sketch, charcoal, paints, mixed media, sculpture, fiber crafts, etc) and subjects (people, animals, structures, etc). I specialize in collage and sculpture from recycled items. I've used Photoshop and InDesign for school, but have not used any programs for graphic design or architecture renders (where should I start with that?).
Basically, I allotted my summer to perfecting my portfolio. I'm willing to learn anything, I just don't know where to start. Like, should my portfolio follow a theme/investigation or can it be disconnected pieces? What subjects should I focus on (e.g., environmental issues, abstract concepts, humans, plants, buildings)? Do I showcase more of my personality (activism I care about, my cultural background) or skill (observation, perspective)? Should it be stylized or photorealistic? What should I photograph?
I also initiated a garden on my school campus and was apart of an environmental-related nonprofit. They're written in my application, but is it worth it to incorporate them into my portfolio? I care a lot about social justice, wealth inequality, and accessibility too, if those should be considered as potential subjects.
For anyone who was in my situation, I'd appreciate if you'd share your portfolio! Sorry for the long post. I'll probably ask more questions as well 😅. I just love this field and really, really want to pursue it.

2024.06.10 04:51 No-Station-7978 1.20.1 Fabric Modpack crashing due to 'porting_lib_models'

I've put together a modpack and it crashed with error code -1 without the game ever opening.
Looking through the crash report, I see that a 'porting_lib_models' is causing the issue, but I have no such mod installed.
Reading further, it seems like a Create issue, but upon removing that the game crashes with the same error.
All in all, don't quite know what is wrong and most certainly could use some help.

2024.06.10 03:48 SanderSo47 Snyder

Here's a new edition of "Directors at the Box Office", which seeks to explore the directors' trajectory at the box office and analyze their hits and bombs. I already talked about a few, and as I promised, it's Zack Snyder's turn.
Snyder's mother bought him a film camera when he was young, as she always supported his artistic side. Back in high school, Snyder struggled due to his dyslexia and made his first film there with the camera his mother bought him, using it to make an unflattering commentary about his school's administration that got him expelled. Afterward, Snyder attended Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, a film program that put focus on visual art over storytelling. He graduated with a BFA in film in 1989. He directed commercials and music videos through the 90s, before finally getting a chance at feature films.
From a box office perspective, how reliable was he to deliver a box office hit?
That's the point of this post. To analyze his career.

Dawn of the Dead (2004)

"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the Earth."
His directorial debut. A remake of George A. Romero's 1978 film, it stars Sarah Polley, Ving Rhames, Jake Weber, Mekhi Phifer, Ty Burrell, Michael Kelly and Kevin Zegers. Set in Milwaukee, the film follows a group of survivors who try to survive a zombie apocalypse holed up in a suburban shopping mall.
Producers Eric Newman and Marc Abraham bought the rights to Dawn of the Dead from its producer and rights holder Richard P. Rubinstein. Newman hired James Gunn to write the script, and the studio brought Gunn in despite not wanting to deliver them a signal idea for the film beforehand. A fan of the original Dawn of the Dead since he was a young boy, Gunn explained that he took the job because he "kind of saw generally what it could be". The producers conceptualized the remake as more of a "re-envisioning" which would work in some references to the original but would primarily work on its own terms.
In writing the script, Gunn took an action-oriented approach while remaining faithful to the basic premise of Romero's version. To develop the plot, he declined to write a treatment in favor of a discovery writing method whereby he would devise hypothetical situations which would ultimately force the characters to evacuate the mall. Gunn revealed he received internet backlash over the film due to his past screenwriting credit on Scooby-Doo, believing him to be unqualified for the job.
Snyder chose to direct the remake as his first feature film because it gave the television commercial director "a reason to care about every shot". Not wanting his version inevitably compared to Romero's, he concurred with the producers on reimagining the latter film as opposed to doing it as a "remake", which, in his view, would have entailed re-shooting Romero's script. For that matter, he aimed to make his film a straight horror that was "as serious as a heart attack" and keep every aspect of its production as grounded in reality as possible. His approach included previsualizing the film with storyboards and introducing the concept of running zombies, which he said was his "fresh, new way" of giving it a sense of verisimilitude and rendering zombies as if they were real threats, especially when they attack in hordes. Snyder maintained Gunn's decision not to reveal the origin of the zombie outbreak, believing it was "obvious that in this fallen society, you wouldn't know where the whole plague started".
The film opened with $26 million in its first opening weekend, which was pretty great for the zombie genre and ranking #1. As a fun fact, Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed opened on #1 the following weekend, making James Gunn the first screenwriter in history to have two back to back number 1 films. While it had poor legs, the film closed with $102 million worldwide, making it a box office success. It also received very positive reviews, with critics praising it as a worthy remake of the original and a fine addition to the zombie genre. And the doors opened for Snyder.

300 (2007)

"Prepare for glory!"
His second film. Based on the 1998 comic book limited series by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, it stars Gerard Butler, David Wenham, Lena Headey, Giovanni Cimmino, Dominic West, Vincent Regan, Tom Wisdom, Andrew Pleavin, Andrew Tiernan, and Rodrigo Santoro. The film, like its source material, is a fictionalized retelling of the Battle of Thermopylae in the Greco-Persian Wars. The plot revolves around King Leonidas, who leads 300 Spartans into battle against the Persian "God-King" Xerxes and his invading army of more than 300,000 soldiers. As the battle rages, Queen Gorgo attempts to rally support in Sparta for her husband.
Producer Gianni Nunnari was not the only person planning a film about the Battle of Thermopylae, as director Michael Mann had already planned a film of the battle based on the book Gates of Fire. Nunnari discovered Frank Miller's graphic novel 300, which impressed him enough to acquire the film rights. Snyder was hired in June 2004 as he had attempted to make a film based on Miller's novel before making his debut with the remake of Dawn of the Dead.
The film is a shot-for-shot adaptation of the comic book, similar to the film adaptation of Sin City. Snyder photocopied panels from the comic book, from which he planned the preceding and succeeding shots. "It was a fun process for me... to have a frame as a goal to get to," he said. Like the comic book, the adaptation also used the character Dilios as a narrator. Snyder used this narrative technique to show the audience that the surreal "Frank Miller world" of 300 was told from a subjective perspective.
In its first weekend, it earned a huge $70 million, which was the biggest spring debut and the third biggest for an R-rated film. It held very well, closing with a fantastic $210 million domestically and $456 million worldwide. But it received mixed reviews, with critics divided over its story and characters. It also drew criticism for its depiction of Persians. When many questioned the portrayal of Xerxes, Snyder said, "What's more scary to a 20-year-old boy than a giant god-king who wants to have his way with you?" But despite all that reception, it quickly became an iconic film, with some quotes and memes quickly reaching the Internet. A sequel, Rise of an Empire, was released in 2014, but Snyder only returned as co-writer and producer.

Watchmen (2009)

"Who watches the watchmen?"
His third film. Based on the 1986–1987 DC Comics limited series created by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons, it stars Malin Åkerman, Billy Crudup, Matthew Goode, Carla Gugino, Jackie Earle Haley, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Patrick Wilson. A dark and dystopian deconstruction of the superhero genre, the film is set in an alternate history in the year 1985 at the height of the Cold War, as a group of mostly retired American superheroes investigate the murder of one of their own before uncovering an elaborate and deadly conspiracy, while their moral limitations are challenged by the complex nature of the circumstances.
In 1986, producers Lawrence Gordon and Joel Silver acquired film rights to Watchmen for 20th Century Fox. After author Alan Moore declined to write a screenplay based on his story, Fox enlisted screenwriter Sam Hamm. Hamm rewrote Watchmen's complicated ending, making a "more manageable" conclusion involving an assassination and a time paradox. Fox put the project into turnaround in 1991, and the project was moved to Warner Bros. Pictures, where Terry Gilliam was attached to direct and Charles McKeown to rewrite the script. Gilliam and Silver were only able to raise $25 million for the film, a quarter of the necessary budget, because their previous films had gone overbudget. Gilliam eventually left, describing the comic as "unfilmable", and Warner Bros. dropped the project.
Subsequently, David Hayter (the voice of Solid Snake and Naked Snake in the Metal Gear video game franchise) decided to try to make the film his directorial debut, also working as the writer. He later left, and other directors like Michael Bay, Darren Aronofsky, Paul Greengrass and Tim Burton were attached at one point, but they all left. By 2006, Warner Bros. resurrected the project and, impressed by his work in 300, offered the director's chair to Snyder while Alex Tse was brought in to rewrite the script. Similar to his approach to 300, Snyder used the comic book as a storyboard. Following negotiations, Paramount, which had already spent $7 million in their failed project, earned the rights for international distribution of Watchmen and 25% of the film's ownership. While 20th Century Fox filed a lawsuit to block the film's release, the studios eventually settled, and Fox received an upfront payment and a percentage of the worldwide gross from the film and all sequels and spin-offs in return.
The fight scenes were extended, and a subplot about energy resources was added to make the film more topical. Although he intended to stay faithful to the look of the characters in the comic, Snyder intended Nite Owl to look scarier and made Ozymandias's armor into a parody of the rubber muscle suits from Batman & Robin. With regard to changing the ending to where Dr. Manhattan was fingered as the culprit instead of the squid, Snyder stated that "we figured it took about 15 minutes to explain [the squid's appearance] correctly; otherwise, it's pretty crazy." By omitting the squid, Snyder felt that he could give more time to explore and develop the existing characters.
Dave Gibbons became an adviser on the film film, but Moore has refused to have his name attached to any film adaptations of his work. Moore has stated he has no interest in seeing Snyder's adaptation, "There are things that we did with Watchmen that could only work in a comic, and were indeed designed to show off things that other media can't." While Moore believes that David Hayter's screenplay was "as close as I could imagine anyone getting to Watchmen," he asserted he did not intend to see the film if it were made.
The film was highly anticipated and its opening numbers suggested it was going to be a huge hit. It opened with $55 million in its opening weekend, which was below 300. But shit hit the fan very soon; it collapsed 67.7% in its second weekend. Then, it kept falling by 59-61% in its third-thru-fifth weekend, leaving the Top 10 in its fifth weekend and the Top 20 in its seventh weekend. It closed with $107 million domestically, which gave it a poor 1.94x multiplier. Worldwide, the film made just $185 million against its $150 million budget, making it a box office flop. In some good news, the film was highly popular in home media; it earned $152,930,878 in DVD and Blu-rays in North America. Greg Silverman (former Warner Bros executive) said that the film did later become profitable.
The film drew mixed reactions from critics; the cinematography, performances and action sequences were praised, but its writing and themes were criticized. For fans of the graphic novel, the reception was much more negative, with Snyder criticized for the changes made to the novel, feeling he missed the point, and accusing him of making an action film that lacked the thematic depth and nuance of the graphic novel. Over the years, it had gained a cult following, although it remains a controversial film.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole (2010)

"Take flight."
His fourth film. Based on the Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series by Kathryn Lasky, the film features the voices of Helen Mirren, Geoffrey Rush, Jim Sturgess, Hugo Weaving, Emily Barclay, Abbie Cornish, Ryan Kwanten, Anthony LaPaglia, Miriam Margolyes, Sam Neill, Richard Roxburgh, and David Wenham. In the film, Soren, a barn owl, is kidnapped and taken to St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls led by Metal Beak and Nyra, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He befriends a fellow owl named Gylfie, and they later escape the facility to find the Island of Ga'Hoole with new-found friends and together fight against the evil army.
The film was another box office failure for Snyder, making just $140 million worldwide against its $80 million budget. Reviews were also mixed, particularly for its story and deviations from the source material.

Sucker Punch (2011)

"You will be unprepared."
His fifth film. The film stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Vanessa Hudgens, Jamie Chung, Carla Gugino, and Oscar Isaac. It follows "Babydoll", a young woman who is committed to a mental institution. As she collects items she needs to escape, she enters a series of fantasy worlds where she and her fellow inmates are strong, experienced warriors.
The film is described by Snyder as "Alice in Wonderland with machine guns". The film first gained attention in March 2007, but Snyder put the project aside to work on Watchmen first. In early interviews, Snyder stated that he would make it an R-rated film, but a later interview stated that he was aiming for it to be rated PG-13. In its theatrical release, the movie was ultimately rated PG-13. Snyder cut many crucial scenes before the film's release in order to satisfy the MPAA's censors, but claimed that the home media release of the film will be a director's cut and closer to his original vision. Snyder has stated one interpretation of the film is that it is a critique of geek culture's sexism and objectification of women.
The film includes an imaginary brothel that the five girls enter in the alternate reality, where singing and dancing take place. The fantasy sequences include dragons, aliens, and a World War I battle. Snyder expressed his interest in the film's content:
"On the other hand, though it's fetishistic and personal, I like to think that my fetishes aren't that obscure. Who doesn't want to see girls running down the trenches of World War One wreaking havoc? I'd always had an interest in those worlds – comic books, fantasy art, animated films. I'd like to see this, that's how I approach everything, and then keep pushing it from there."
The film flopped in its opening weekend, making just $19 million against its $80 million. And there were no legs here; it fell by 68.4%, 65.1% and 71.2% in its subsequent weekends. It closed with a terrible $36 million, marking another sub 2x multiplier for Snyder. Worldwide, it didn't fare much better, closing with just $89 million. While it is reported it had a good opening day in home media, it didn't change the fact that it was a flop. The film received awful reviews, particularly for its acting, writing, characters and poor execution of its themes. It also drew criticism for its depiction of women. Several critics described the film as misogynistic and others expressed concern over its treatment of sexual violence.
In 2019, Snyder said: "I'm always shocked that it was so badly misunderstood. I always said that it was a commentary on sexism and geek culture. Someone would ask me, 'Why did you film the girls this way?' And I'd say, 'Well you did!' Sucker Punch is a fuck you to a lot of people who will watch it."

The Verdict

Hope you liked this edition. You can find this and more in the wiki for this section.
The next director will be Tony Scott. An iconic filmmaker, sadly no longer with us.
I asked you to choose who else should be in the run and the comment with the most upvotes would be chosen. Well, we'll later talk about... Sofia Coppola. The second female director to get a post.
This is the schedule for the following four:
Week Director Reasoning
June 17-23 Tony Scott Action films have not been the same ever since his death.
June 24-30 Roland Emmerich The King of disaster films.
July 1-7 John McTiernan & Rob Reiner The rise and fall of two once-great directors.
July 8-14 Sofia Coppola Like father, like daughter.
For this week... there won't be suggestions. Why? Because if you've followed these editions, you know what that means...

Jump Notes

  1. Day -6
    1. We fly to an isolated area so we can enter the warehouse without witnesses, to avoid any confusion
    2. According to the pattern my benefactor established, I should be due for another rule change and a gauntlet, so I check the lounge immediately
      1. There's no note on the door this time, and no one inside to speak with me, but there is a card on the coffee table:
      2. Indeed, there are now five envelopes, each describing a different gauntlet I could visit
      3. After a bit of thought, I opt for Fall Guys, as I can at least expect it to be quick and merciful, and affix the sticker to my jump tracking chart
    3. I turn my attention back to the biosphere teleport to the observation deck, and make note of what's changed in the last ten years
      1. At the macro level things seems to be similar - the islands are in the same places, but there is noticeably more going on in the factory complex
      2. With the end of the jump, the Zetan Mothership had warped into the extra-dimensional Big Garage, and the alien crew were occasionally filtering into the rest of the warehouse and biosphere area
      3. The Bards had built an amphitheater from a hill near the housing complex early on, and by now it had grown into a full-blown outdoor theater, with an excavated pit, curtain system, and similar facilities
      4. The biggest change had been on the islands assigned to the halflings, which were now full of farms, ranches, and workshops
    4. With a steady supply of fresh food now including cereals, fruits, seafood, and meat, they grocery preference was adjusted toward supplemental items like spices and unusual ingredients
      1. This time Pawl has some trained or programmed robots helping with the meal preparation - likely J-Borg's influence, but the meal is divine, and he even has been saving up shrimp from the warehouse grocery's plan to make a feast for the Zetans
  2. Most of the team hasn't heard of Fall Guys before, but it's one of the 1500 or so games installed on the Game Room's servers
    1. We spend much of the week trying to come up with strategies for the various levels and challenges
    2. I don't tell the companions that the next batch of jumps will be partially my choice, but more than once I hear one of them say "It would be interesting to visit ..." or similar remarks, and I wonder if somehow they know, or I'm just sensitive to it now that I do
  3. Day 1 of 60
    1. With the weird twisty feeling of a jump, and the sudden awareness of how much I am now lacking, I find myself in a throng of bean-people, some in costumes, watching a brief countdown before running a course of rotating platforms and knock-down bars
      1. I did ok in that first race, and even though I didn't finish first, I qualified to go to the next level
      2. After two levels, I failed to qualify in a team game sort of like basketball, and was kicked out of the match
    2. After the match, I was sent to a strange room
      1. The first things I noticed were areas that looked sort of like walk-in showers with glass doors I could open and step through, one labeled "next match" and one labeled "end day"
      2. But there was also a strange thing that seemed like a combination of dollhouse, wardrobe, and vending machine
    3. I had thought about it, and told myself that I'd devote my first day to learning my limits and getting used to my body and advantages, rather than just trying to win immediately
      1. This was good as my second match started with a team tail tag event, wherein my team seemed to have forgotten how to effectively run away
    4. After a few more matches (or maybe a lot) I had the hang of things, and finally got first place in a match 5. Figuring it best to end on a high note, I decided to try the "end day" option, which resulted in another trap door - leading to a bed perfectly suited for a pill, on which I instantly fell asleep
  4. Day 2 of 60
    1. I woke up to my bed being gently tipped, resulting in me falling through, yes, another trapdoor, which somehow led back to my "green room" as I'd taken to calling it
      1. This time the greenroom had a new feature: A screen showing "59 days remaining", and a few stats about me and the competition
    2. I once again tried to focus on practice and calibration for a bit
      1. It seems like even my bodymod enhancements, which should give me great advantages in strength, speed, and reaction, had been significantly tuned down
      2. But I was consistently lucky in my starting position, and I seemed to fare better when getting knocked around, as well as judging jumps and dives
    3. This time I got my victory earlier - on my fifth match of the day
      1. But rather than "quit while ahead", I decided to try to grind through a bit more to see if I could improve my standing in point totals
  5. Day 10 of 60
    1. I hate the Lost Temple
      1. It's not even a team event, where I expect suckage, it's just random bullshit
    2. And I hate my teammates
      1. I think it's intentionally pairing me with bots, or babies maybe? It's hard to tell
    3. But through perseverance, I have managed to get myself into the top 5% of scorers for the season
    4. I learned that the scoreboard screen has more functions
      1. I can see a history of my games and watch replays, and see the names of other players involved, plus get some more stats about myself and the season
    5. I tried a few goofy outfits, but I have mostly been wearing the plain blue bean-condom - I just don't feel comfortable in the weird ones with lots of parts flailing around
  6. Day 30 of 60
    1. I wake up and check the leaderboard - it seems unchanged from last night
      1. It seems most players only play a few matches per day, and I spent a fair amount of time yesterday reviewing replays
      2. I barely need to sleep, but I think the others need it more
      3. I'm still in 7th place - I'm trying to keep the gap between me and #1 narrow, but not so much as to make the top 3 feel the need to play even more matches
    2. I start my first match of the day - it seems to be only slightly different than the first map I played on day one: spinning platforms resembling propellers, with spinning bars
      1. I yield the lead to a random, but keep pace with him while blocking anyone behind me as well as I can
      2. I dive to tackle the leading bean, right as he should be jumping to avoid the obstacles
      3. The bar hits us both and we go flying - the rando off to the side, and I manage to fly directly over the next moving platform, saving myself precious seconds
      4. With a sizeable lead, I race over the rolling logs, dodge the swinging hammers just on time, and hit the finish line - first again
    3. After that match, I spend some time reviewing games - my own mistakes, but also the play style of the rest of the top 10, I know that as the season comes to a close, I'm going to have to make a run for their leads, and they won't want to give them up easily
  7. Day 45 of 60
    1. I drop into my green room and see I'm still #7, and the gap is still manageable
    2. I play matches constantly today - starting each as soon as I'm able
      1. I'm curious about how it builds the rosters for each match, and trying an experiment
    3. I play for hours, grateful that my body and mind don't tire like most people
      1. The Temple and team events still frustrate me, but I'm not going for first place today, not pulling out my best tricks, and the shear number of matches nets me a sizeable amount of kudos
    4. After some ridiculous number of matches, I notice some strange trends
      1. In team matches, the enemy teams now seem to be as bad as mine
      2. My competitors also don't seem to be really trying to win - a larger portion of them seem to be just charging ahead heedless of obstacles, which makes the rounds take much longer to finish
      3. More noticeably, I spend far longer waiting after being washed and dressed, presumably as the system finds enough competitors for a match
  8. Day 46 of 60
    1. I don't even start a match when I wake up - the leaderboard has me at #4, which is where I stopped my "grinding" yesterday for fear of sparking a trend of even more matches per day
    2. Instead, I study the replays of the games from yesterday
      1. I wasn't fooling myself - after a while, the quality of competition dropped sharply
      2. And it seemed like the pool of competitors was even early in the day, and skewed toward the bottom quartile more as the day dragged on
      3. Even those players weren't quite playing their usual way though - well, some were extremely consistent but some weren't
      4. It makes me wonder if it's waking them up from sleep to fill a match, or some of them are bots or simulations, or something else
  9. Day 60 of 60
    1. The end-of-season race heated up despite my efforts to not cause it so
    2. The day drags on, and I keep myself at #4 by alternating between games and watching replays
    3. Eventually I see that the updates are becoming less frequent, and go into action, starting to play in earnest
      1. I easily qualify through the first rounds, even carrying my team through Hoarders despite themselves
      2. The game announces the final round, and the countdown starts at 3...
    4. I unleash - taking full advantage of my positional superiority, my unmatched timing, my freakish ability to land where and how I want, and most importantly, my endurance
      1. I'm trying to build an insurmountable and intimidating lead
      2. I know the playstyle, preferred outfits, and rough ranking of each of the 300 competitors in my group this season
      3. After rigorous testing, I've determined that I still have an ever so slight advantage in straightaway speed and jump distance over my competitors - the benefits of my body mod being compressed so as to be almost unnoticeable, but not completely wiped out
    5. The gap between me and #2 is now the same as the gap between #2 and #9 - but I see that others in the top ten at least are still gaining points even as the day wanes on
      1. I keep going all-out, not winning every match as luck and teammates interfere, but consistently qualifying and gaining Kudos to maintain and grow my lead
    6. I get placed in a match with #2, the former #1, "Alan", if the Sorcerer skin he prefers is really him
      1. I don't need the points right now, so I target him - blocking and tackling him at every opportunity, getting us both eliminated
      2. Then I do it again in the next match
      3. When he drops to #3 I go back to exploiting my small but meaningful advantages and rack up some more points
    7. And I keep going, even longer than I did on Day 45 - switching between building my lead and tormenting the runners up
    8. And then, when I step into the "Next Match" tube for the 42nd time that day, the trapdoor slide drops me into the entrance hall of my warehouse, dumping a certificate of achievement and a heap of bean-fitting clothes on my head

Notes on the Jump Doc

  1. I came in having seen the game played, but not tried it myself. Fortunately there lots of recordings and forum posts about the game
  2. The perk descriptions were brief and straightforward, which I like
    1. It would be nice if they had a bit more description of how to apply in other settings, but most are pretty self-explanatory
    2. There's not a lot of options here - just a few perks and no items, but that's appropriate for a gauntlet focused on this particular game. If you want something more broad and extensive, this probably isn't the gauntlet (or videogame) for you
    3. I could see a non-gauntlet version including more for other game modes and such, but I don't think it would really be an improvement
  3. Similarly the drawbacks and prizes were quite clear, if also not very numerous
    1. Speaking of the prizes, I liked the tiers / options
  4. Coming in at nine pages, this is a short but not too short description of the gauntlet
  5. The one area I would have liked a bit more elaboration on is how the gauntlet interacts with existing bodymod improvements
    1. I chose to almost completely negate the physical improvements, because they would have been too much in this gauntlet
  6. Overall, this is what you'd expect
    1. if you're into Fall Guys, go for it
    2. If you want a low-stakes gauntlet with a fixed short duration, this is perfect
    3. The 400 point perk (Mulligan) isn't something I've seen elsewhere, so that might be another reason to take this

Jump Duration

Days: 60

Origin

Origin: Fall Guy There is only one origin here: Fall Guy.
As a Fall Guy, you are a short, squat humanoid, with a jelly bean-shaped body. You have a limited amount of body control, generally waddling around and occasionally jumping, but you have a ridiculous amount of durability, easily capable of handling being smacked hard enough to fly through the air, or surviving a long fall while landing on your head with nary a scratch. Your face consists of just a pair of eyes, with the rest of your body generally wrapped up in some sort of costume, though you are still capable of making sounds and even eating while spectating, though the actual method is... unknown. However, you don’t strictly need to eat or drink or even sleep. You might get a bit loopy without rest, but that isn’t a big change from how most Fall Guys act. You do lose access to Perks and Items and such from prior Jumps while you are here.

Perks

Kudos For You! (Free)
While you are here, any Episode that you compete in will earn you Kudos, the main form of currency used by Fall Guys. The farther you get in an Episode, the more you will earn, and if you do things that are particularly impressive or awesome looking, you’ll get a bit more. This currency can be used to purchase a variety of things, primarily cosmetic changes for your individualized outfit, but it is also used in day-to-day life of the Fall Guys as well for things like snacks or souvenirs.
Front Of The Pack [100/900 CP]
It can be difficult when your starting position is randomly set to the back corner of the starting area, meaning everyone else has a chance to run forward before you can even get going. Now, you will always be positioned at the front and in the general middle, giving you the best position for starting out. In future Jumps, this will translate to a similar bonus in other competitions, helping to place you in an advantageous position before the contest starts.
Timing [100/800 CP]
Frequently, the difference between success and fall-ure in the competition is split-second timing. You now have a clear grasp of timing, being able to accurately judge how quickly you are capable of moving, the timing cycles of various obstacles, and when you need to jump or dive to avoid them.
Awareness [200/600 CP]
It is like you have eyes in the back of your head. Or maybe a ‘third-person awareness’. You can sense when something is happening outside of your field of vision, and respond appropriately.
Like A Cat [200/400 CP]
Oops. You stepped wrong, and now you are hurtling through the air like a sack of sand that thinks it’s a duck. Luckily, you’ll somehow manage to land on your feet. Anytime that you end up falling or flying through the air, you’ll be able to right yourself so you can land on your feet, absorbing the impact so you can keep waddling towards the finish line, and you’ll be able to slightly direct your momentum while you are in the air to land at the point you intended. Highest Kudos Consolation Prize (Free)
Less of a consolation prize and more of an alternate win method. In short, if you have managed to gain the most Kudos of any other competitor during this current season (don’t worry, there is a scoreboard that can allow you to check how you are ranking up), then you can win this version of the prize. You don’t get a full slider, but you do have a permanent and significant boost to your luck. All sorts of minor events will go your way (rain stopping nearby when you don’t have an umbrella, getting to a bakery just in time for the last ‘everything’ bagel, etc). It is still possible for you to fail through concerted effort by others or your own complacency, but it won’t happen just from random chance.

Items

One Win (Free)
You actually won an Episode! Congratulations! In celebration of your accomplishment, you get a Fall Guy Arena Space. This is a pocket dimension, filled with pink slime and having several floating platforms and blocks that can be rearranged into the shape of obstacles. You are capable of freely reshaping the space and structures within here, though nothing inside can be taken out. You can use this to host your own version of Ultimate Knockout, with anyone who enters this space gaining a Fall Guy form while they are here. This space can connect to your warehouse, or can be linked up to a colorful door that you can insert somewhere in any future Jump.
Sixty Win Consolation Prize (Free)
So, you missed out on victory on a few days, but you still managed at least sixty wins overall. So, you now get a limited version of the prize. Effectively, you can pick any one single discrete project or product that you develop during a given Jump (or every 10 years post-Spark), and have it be a runaway success. All other projects will succeed or fail on their own merits. As before, if you win the highest prize, you can pick between the full Midas Touch, or the limited consolation version.

Drawbacks

Shifting Events [100/500 CP]
Normally, events will remain the same between Episodes, with only maybe hidden obstacles changing their position. Now, however, things will change between events. Maybe an obstacle will have the order of obstacles changed, or there will be swinging pendulums replacing spinning bars in a section. Events will never look quite the same twice in a row, so you and your competitors won’t simply be able to rely on a ‘standard’ approach to win.
Oof! [100/600 CP]
Well, you might not get injured, but unfortunately, you do still have a sense of pain. It isn’t crippling (falling off a building and landing on your head would leave you seeing stars for a few seconds, before the pain vanishes), but it could be distracting during an Episode.
Worst Event [100/700 CP]
There is this one event that you absolutely hate doing. You find it annoying, demeaning, a waste of time. But, unfortunately, it will show up in over 80% of the Episodes you compete in. Better get used to gritting your possibly non-existent teeth.
Incompetents [300/1000 CP]
On occasion, the events that you will undergo will split you into teams with your fellow competitors, forcing you to work together or you all fail. Sadly for you, your teams always seem to be below average in performance. Uncoordinated and unskilled, they will require you to put in a lot of effort to ‘carry’ them to victory, and team events will show up at least every other Episode you compete in, if not more often.

2024.06.10 03:30 Rimuru_Solos3214 [bedrock] Addons Missing Dependencies?

I'm on a realm with some friends on Xbox Series S, while my friends are on Playstation and pc. At first, everything was fine and the addons were working great, but after joining for the second time after getting off for a while, it made me redownload the addons again (strange). After that, a lot of stuff was invisible. The icons for the items were invisible, and the physical things themselves (furniture, mobs, plants, etc.) were also invisible to me. This isn't happening for my friends though, as the things ARE still there, they just don't appear to me for whatever reason. After a while I got fed up and looked at storage to see if there were problems with downloading the addons. They're all in cached data, and they all have a yellow exclamation point saying "Missing dependency with ID '[long series of numbers and letters]' and version '1.0.7.'
I've tried numerous things like restarting the game, deleting the addons and reinstalling them, uninstalling and reinstalling minecraft itself, and looking at many forums. It seems that other xbox players sometimes have the same problem, but nobody knows the answer. Can anybody help me?

2024.06.10 02:51 Luckymobile Looking for opinions on this potential scam website - wolovesk

https://day.wolovesk.shop
Hey guys, after finding a good deal on some supplements I've been trying to pick up, I've been trying to find reviews and any information on this website, but I can't seem to find anything.
Most results point to it being a scam - broken links to all their socials, no direct email to contact for support, no reviews and no search results when googling for more info. But, as it seems like there's a significant number of items on their site and they're not at "TOO"-good-to-be-true prices, I thought I'd double check and make the reddit threat which hopefully pops up in subsequent buyer's google searches, so any input is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

2024.06.10 02:36 Ok-Country-1550 I create a side-campaign for my D&D group and i'd love some feedback (First time DM)

Hi there, thank you for reading this and glad to join the ranks of DM! I created a short one-shot with part of my group, when lots of us wanted to play, buy DMs and most members were busy. After that, they loved it so much that, today, almost a month after the initial session, i've finished a 3rd, this one introducing out main DM (that honestly wanted to play, for once. the other DM only fills in when the main one is missing).
I'd love, if you have the patience to read this full way, to give me some sort of feedback. I've obviously asked their opinions, but, as i do to my DMs, i only mention things when they are VERY wrong. Most of the time, nothing big comes up, so feedback is positive (if we particularly liked an encounter or npc). I'd like someone else(reddit hivemind)'s opinion.
As a background, this is my 3rd session as a DM, and the one i was most unprepared as far as homework is concerned. I didn't know where or what they wanted to do, so i simply had a concrete set of things that could happen and go from there.
I'll give you the setting below, but i just want to mention, as i told my group, this is just for fun and just to do crazy stuff (that wouldn't destabilize, say, an entire continent. so i often ask them what they would be interested in further, to the point in which, one of the players tried communing to their god so much, i gave them a normally useless/flavor item, but they can use it to hold concentration on a 2nd spell. Anyway, i'm rambling. Just know i bend the rules for story and flavor, but keep encounters within 5e rules.
Right, the setting. Some of this will be covered as spoilers, if you want to figure things out along with the players.
Players start in the official WotC universe, it doesn't really matter if it's Forgotten Realms or not, they are taken from there to Island thought a unnatural encounter (A dark storm cloud that came chasing them from the back of the ship. In one case, initial players tried to flee from it. Another group, due to the background of the player, was a naval battle (not played mechanically, just being caught in the storm during the battle)
Any new players can be brought to the Island, and it fits the plot. They start by meeting part of the crew in a tavern, on any city or island with a dock. Players are either new recruits to this "pirate" crew, or simply ask for safe passage, not as crewmen. Crew (names can be in the comment if you want): Captain, 1st Mate, and 6 more crewmates; two v close ones that are the "muscle", and another 4. There are more that can be added, but this is at the start. After their first meeting, i did a small fight with another pirate crew, for my initial players, while for the others, they just wanted to catch up the rest, so we got them to the island as fast as possible. I even allowed them to keep good equipment stored under deck, to not be lost.
They wake up on the beach, shipwrecked. Once on the island, there were a number of checks players had available, depending on what they were interested in: Location/Time -> Noon, sun is at the apex Themselves/ex. Medicine check -> No wounds, maybe missing 5hp at most, but they find a Silver necklace, with a large, blank, circle form in the middle. When they put it on: >! They have a series of visions of a figure, facial traits and voice shifting wild for a moment, before becoming limited to 1,2 or 3 different entities, sharing/fighting for control to speak and be heard over the others.!<Depending on your player's background, you can give them a selection of deities across all pantheons (haven't made a decision on Primeval ones), which the player can make a choice on, even evil ones, if they really want to. Once they agree to a god, their holy symbol will be engraved in the silver necklace they put on. Checking the boat -> Immediately obvious, this is not the ship they were sailing on. The damage to it was different (one was struck by lightning in the middle of the deck, the other should have had cannon holes after the skirmish) Both of them are visibly not the ships they were on at first. I game them a different name for both the ships they traveled on and the ships they woke up on, so in total, 4 different names.
Surroundings -> Immediate vicinity - the other players, Captain, 1st mate, the 6 from the tavern and, if needed, other npcs if pcs want to bring someone else with them, or if they wanted to world build with more cremates. i was thinking for the potential of this small campaign i have and it can easily add more characters. I actually should create the base versions at least before it gets repetitive. you'll understand later
Surroundings -> What is next to us - 3 hours away, on the coastline, another shipwreck. For those players that weren't satisfied with just this, and turned around, they would see, approximatelly the same distance from the first one they saw, another, 3rd shipwreck, counting for your own as well Surrondings -> In-land - A eeriely well define change in the flora. You start off at the beach, at 100-150yr you start so see a few palm trees spread here and there, which eventually, another 100-150yr deeper, turn into a dense jungle-biom. For players with flying, they can also see the jungle has an end, at which there is an elevated plateau above even above the trees (jungle ~200-300yr, plateau another 150~), at the center of which they see a thin volcano, perfectly aligned with the sun. first spoiler, players can hear no fauna. No birds or other animals, anywhere on the island. This is generally where players realize this the first time. Second spoiler, it so happened this is the first time the first group checked the sky again and noticed the Sun was still at the apex, as if it was mid-day. Yes, i've made 15h day with only noon, and a 5 second sunset, before the atmosphere is taken over by an early night, the light from the sun beginning to leave the sky
Once the party figure out they are no longer in Kansas, those that haven't had the choice made, are told they should think about putting on the necklace Doing a headcount, only 1/3 of the crew that sailed off is present. 1/3 is missing with no trace, 1/3 could be attributed to some weird tracks This third of the crew can be either nameless or it can be used to take out any character the DM wants. What players see, there are dips in the sand, then tracks, then nothing. So, someone was there, got up, took a number of steps, then disappeared from their spot. This will be somewhat explained later
Now, from here, i really liked a system the guys from Dimension 20 did. Sure, hate me if you want :)). Basically, once they all wake up, they have certain checks they need to make. At first, daily, later on, weekly. These include: Two Survival checks, one for Food one for Shelter. There is a Crew Maintenance check as well. All three of these are mandatory on each track. What the player chooses to do for these is totally up to them. For Food, the first players salvaged tens of rations, so they just needed to subtract the consumption, while the 2nd group didn't consider it and had to forage when i asked them what they're going to eat today (they have ways of finding food, but i wanted to make rations relevant, stranded island and all). As for Shelter, they first cleared out the boat, to sleep inside, then they started building some cover outside the ship, as well as some barricades, so they can't be approached from 180 degrees. I've counted these as valid for those checks.
Aside from the 3 mandatory ones, they can also choose to do Self Improvement (ex, training into a new proficiency, wizard learning new spells etc), Exploration (figure out the terrain, it's how they found the 2 other ships mentioned above) Relations (if they want to get on better terms with the entire or part of the crew, or even have 1 on 1 time with people. I awarded this with either unlocking some piece of info they didn't realize initially, or give them advantage when asking the crew to agree with them with a persuasion roll. made it meaningful for the player. We have 3 more: The Mystery track (spending time here would have me guide them towards a place or a piece of info they haven't yet encountered or uncovered; basically "Help, what do i do now" option. After this is the Commune track, which everyone must participate in during a full moon. If they don't they will miss out, Doing this at least once is a milestone for levelup oh yes, we use milestones, so they can go through levels faster in a shorter time. it just makes sense for me in this campaign, then the Rest track (to get rid of Stress. What is stress ? if you fail any check you try to make, in this set of tracks i've listed, you can take a Stress token, up to 5, to reroll that check. Each Stress token taken something away, ex, Losing proficiency with a tool, a weapon or a skill, having one of your pieces need repair after excessive use, and requiring them to not only relive the stress, but also fix the this they almost broke. Basically, stress is a temporary hinderance they can get rid of by resting.
Players have time for 3 of these checks during the day and 1 after sun-down, if they want to do something optional. Also, another thing about the checks, they start off easy, at 5 or 10 DC for a success (the threshold went up as they leveled up), to which you add 5 more to the DC for each other check they do on the track. For example, a player could spend one day: 1st, Foraging or Fishing, with a DC of 5 (This covered the mandatory Fool track), 2nd he cooks it at DC 10 (this is the Crew Maintenance), 3rd he wants to spend the time with a friend in the crew, for a DC 20 charisma check. He fails, takes a Stress, then rerolls and succeeds. Lastly, he spends the early night watching the sea and trying to relax. That would mean a 25DC in order to relax, which can be number of things, but the only time someone had to do a rest, they rolled a Con ability check and passed it, so they lost the stress.
I'll end off with a cryptic i've left the players with, and well as what i actually planned to be going on. Thank you so much if you've read this far, let me know if you have questions or anything you can tell me, i appreciate you xo
Message, with forbidden knowledge, which players are not privy to yet: "Welcome, adventurers, to ($&#@*%) Island. Keep your senses sharp, as during the ($#@%^&%), your prowess and determination will be tested. When you are ready, make your way to the center of (^$#%$^#) Volcano and determine whom amongst you is worthy of being the new (&$#*$#@) of your God."
>! Welcome, adventurers, to FINAL Island. Keep your senses sharp, as during the BATTLEROYALE your prowess and determination will be tested. When you are ready, make your way to the center of ARENA Volcano and determine whom amongst you is worthy of being the new AVATAR of your God. !<
TBH, i tried to railroad them a bit where needed. Seeing they don't say the words, i've had pieces unlocked from their chosen god. In short, it is a competition in which Gods must participate, choose their champions and help them win the event. This will of course give the players riches beyond imagining, a wish spells, maybe 2 wish spells, who knows!? For those that didn't want to make a decision and not want to either, i told my players "You can refuse each and every deity you want, but that means another one will talk to you. That's where the Captain plays a role. At the start, i've asked the players to start as non-magic users, but being able to multiclass once they reach the island. They find out a bit later that there are no Warlocks in the crewmate.. it doesn't even cross their mind. until they realize, their captain is a Warlock. The only thing he did is he refused every single God. So, if a players wants to play Warlock, i told them they would have to speak and refuse every god i can see listed in the pantheon. And yes, there is something at the end of the line. !<
I don't know if i've missed anything big so far. It's already a long post and the story if really convoluted as is. If you'd like to ask about it, feel free, i'd love to talk about it more. Cheers evveryone!

So I tried using immersive aircraft (1.19.4, Forge) and every time I try to start the biplane engine the game crashes and it comes up with this error message:

2024.06.10 02:24 PortelloKing EggFlation

EggFlation
Dear SiMadame.
I hope you having a good King birthday (Monday)
The ASX market is closed today so I wish to ask for some questions.
Let me make this crystal clear to everyone. I'm not in this for the money, girls, fame, publicity or power. Now thats out of the way.
I am looking at creating a SMSF to corner the egg market and want your input.
The price of eggs has been increasing rapidly, I have potentially and accidentally worked out a way to become a billionaire if not a trillionaire within a short 6-12 month timeframe.
It's belived H7N3 is wreaking havoc upon the egg market threatening the world wide supply of eggs.
Most people don't know this but 40% off all items in Earth contain egg or something that has the letters e or g in it.
Australian large chain supermarket Coles have choked the chicken as to speak limiting egg purchases to two cartons as of today excluding WA.
The Victorian Farmers Federation told me that about 450,000 fewer eggs are being produced daily due to the culling of infected chickens.
Now this is my buisness idea.
If I can simply sell each of my egg's for $20 during the peak of EggFlation i stand to make $9,000,000 per day. This is for the Victorian market only. My profit would be $63,000,000 per week and $3,276,000,000 billion per year. If you just times that by the number of capital cities in the world your looking at a cool $32,760,000,000,000 per year or $3,739,726,027 per hour.
The chickens require food. But I've worked out. If I don't feed them they will get violent and kill other chickens and eat them. This would not only make the surviving chickens stronger and smarter. In doing so it would increase the egg size by 40% based on Rothenbergs size formula and eliminate all pests from Australia and put the Pied Piper into retirement.
I'd use drop shipping via China it's basicly free. They have a reputable shipping company in some town called Wuhan near a seafood market. The Google reviews look good 2.1 stars.
Now the part your here for. Once I'm worth $400,000,000 I will start liaising with ASIC and the ASX to look into going public on the ASX in Q4 2024. Followed by NYSE in Q2 2025.
I'd appreciate any feedback or improvements.
Not financial advice. DYOR.

2024.06.10 01:40 No-Mind-2688 I feel like there should be a surge charge fee that the driver gets for alcohol orders and here are the reasons why..

 1. Increased Responsibility and Legal Risks: Delivering alcohol and tobacco involves verifying the recipient’s age and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. This added responsibility increases the potential legal risks for the driver if these laws are not correctly followed. 2. Time and Effort: The process of age verification can be time-consuming, requiring additional steps beyond a standard delivery. This extra effort and time warrant additional compensation to make it worth the driver’s while.
  1. Safety Concerns: Handling alcohol and tobacco can sometimes lead to unsafe situations, particularly if recipients are intoxicated or aggressive. Additional pay can compensate for the increased risk to the driver’s safety.
    1. Liability Issues: Drivers might face heightened liability concerns if alcohol or tobacco products are delivered to minors or if the products are mishandled. Higher pay can help offset the potential financial and legal ramifications.
    2. Higher Value Orders: Alcohol and tobacco products often have higher price points compared to other delivery items. Drivers should be compensated proportionately for handling more valuable merchandise.
    3. Special Handling Requirements: These products may require specific handling and storage conditions, adding complexity to the delivery process. Drivers should be paid more for managing these additional requirements effectively.
    4. Customer Interaction: Delivering age-restricted items often involves more interaction with customers, such as waiting for them to produce ID and potentially dealing with disputes over age verification. This extra customer service effort should be rewarded with higher pay.
  2. Legal Age Requirement and Limited Availability: Drivers must be of legal age to handle alcohol and tobacco deliveries, which limits the pool of eligible drivers. Additionally, not all drivers may be comfortable with or willing to take on the responsibility of delivering these items, further reducing the number of available drivers. This scarcity of eligible and willing drivers warrants higher pay to incentivize those who meet the criteria and are willing to perform these deliveries.

I know a few of you seen some of post a long time ago kinda getting upset about all the crashes. For me to go out my way to express something like that showes I care about the game alot. So instead of just getting pissed every two seconds about it I decided to watch for things that trigger it and test some things out. Im going to give a rundown of stuff I noticed the past two weeks. I have come to the conclusion that if everything in you're game is working perfectly fine it comes down to events, possibly other players and storage for the cause or causes of the game crashing. So for example. If internet connection is good, no hardware issues etc. I will explain.
Events: seismic activity seems to be the event alot of people will crash all at once. In 2 weeks I crashed several times. If I were to compare id say seismic activity and possibly earl Williams are up in score with the most crashes. Earl Williams being significantly less compared to seismic. In 2 weeks of paying attention and documenting small number notes I did not crash once during scorched earth or the rest of the events with almost max lobby showing up a few times in two weeks. I started this experiment a little after the alien invasion. If I started this during alien invasion I believe Alien invasion would be first in the most crashes category unfortunately. Especially in Charleston.
Storage or ammo storage: it could be many different reasons for events crashing but I believe even if that were to get looked into the issue will come all the way Back to Storage. I have a theory about this Storage...
Again this has been a ongoing thing for about two weeks. Basically concluded this today. Just wanted to see if I could seriously figure this out. I will start from the beginning. I remember seeing post in this reddit that a long time ago when the game first released the storage space capacity was around 400. Over time it increased little by little. Fast forward we now have 1200. Funny thing is when I had 1200/1200 on my main character my game crashed every two seconds. But 400 wasn't always that amount. Well what if I told you the more stuff you have in your storage the worse the game is. What if the game storage is still at 400 but internal numbers and the rest is cloud..
To test this theory accurately I decided to jump back on my level 20 character. The character that has barely any storage and I kept the main storage under 100. Mainly because I have all the quest weapons transferred. It was taken up way to much room on my main character. Besides that its under 200. I did everything like normal. Went back to the first few quest and even did those events. Only time the game crashed was again.. seismic activity. Played on this character for a good two weeks. Making sure to keep my ammo storage and main storage to a serious minimum. I believe doing this made a Huge difference.
Thats my theory. Many things go into a game crashing but I believe the storage for every individual player plays apart in that to.I couldn't believe how well everything felt on my second character. You guys can try this theory out. Make a new character and test it out. Dont knock it untill you know for sure. I could be onto something. Having less items in both ammo and main storage does something to this game I feel.

2024.06.09 22:42 cheeseandonionpringl Daughter and husband falsely accused of shoplifting

Hello!
My daughter (F11), was birthday shopping with her dad and my husband (M44) yesterday in a John Lewis & Partners branch. They were on a cosmetics floor and she was browsing supervised by my husband, who, we both have no criminal convictions or any traffic offences.
She is mildly asthmatic and an attack came about the same time they were browsing. I was on the opposite side of town and carried an emergency inhaler with me. My husband rings me and I rush over and say to meet me at the entrance of the store (the John Lewis store is in a shopping mall).
As I arrive, my daughter and husband were no where to be seen. They emerge after half an hour and she is in tears while he is clearly enraged. Apparently, as they were rushing out, two plainclothes asset protection people stop them at the entrance and they insisted that my daughter had pocketed some mascara in her bag and my husband took some perfume. They were shopping at Boots before with me and had bought cosmetics from that store. They made my daughter and husband go to the back of the store where they took a picture of their faces, confiscated the items they had clearly bought, and took my husbands phone to look for our address. Fortunately, they didn’t take the latest up to date address rather they had taken an old one. They went through my husbands Gmail app and searched “address” and “council number” on the search bar of it while he stood in the corner with my already distressed daughter. They took a picture of his ID as well.
They were both made to sign a banning notice saying they will not return to any John Lewis stores or any Waitrose stores. They were then escorted out and were told they would be deported (we are Americans, and they saw it on his BRP). They also threatened that police will show up to arrest them soon.
I am not sure what I can do in this situation as we have not dealt with issues like these. Please advise whether we should make a police report first or risk waiting for police contact.
Many thanks.
